I'll be flying DL 146 SCL-ATL next week and was wondering how much fun I am in for once I arrive at ATL (it is scheduled to arrive at 0620). I know that ATL has quite a reputation for bottlenecks, and it is certinaly deserved at other times of the day, but I figure the volume will be low enough that if they are adequately staffed, it shouldn't be too bad. Any experience with these early arrivals would be appreciated.
I can't decide whether I miss the tulip or the bowling shoe more

FIS should be basically empty at that time. The only international flight to arrive before the SCL flight is the first from GRU, although that arrives at 5:30am. So unless they only open up one counter each for US residents and visitors, you should be cleared fast, likely under 30 minutes easily.
