For anyone that's interested, Iberia is again sending an A346 to ORD today. With the good threat of thunderstorms around ORD today, it should be interesting to see what runway they land her on.

Airline Iberia Airlines - Spain
Flight Number 6275
Departure City (Airport) Madrid, Spain, Spain (and Territories) (LEMD)
Departure Time 05/13/2005 12:10 PM
Arrival City (Airport) Chicago, IL (ORD)
Arrival Time 05/13/2005 01:34 PM
Remaining Flight Time 04:52
Aircraft Type A346
Current Altitude 0 feet
Current Groundspeed 542 mph
Flight Status In Flight

Anyone have the schedule for this weekend's flights to ORD? A343 or A346?

That looks like a flight number for a ferry or a charter or a cargo flight (I don't know too much about hos IB numbers flights). They got the 346 in and out all right once before; we'll see how fun it is this time...

Iberias flight # to ORD is 6275, it's a regular flight.

This is the third time Iberia has sent an A346 for the MAD-ORD route. Probaly a sub for a A340-300.

Cubsrule: No, that's the daily IB flight number. And you missed the A346 about 3 or 4 weeks ago, came in two days straight. So, as AlitaliaMD11 says, they have sent it in 3 times, this being the 4th.

I just hope the rain/ thunderstorms hold off until later today around here so I can see her come in.

They will park her at T5 for the both the arrival and departure. IB usually uses AA gates in T3 concourse L, but the A346 is tooooo long to fit in the alley!

Probably 27L, altough they better hurry as the storm is approaching the airport right now.

I was forturnate to be on IB 6274 MADORD when it operated as a 346 on 10April. It also had IB's new "IberiaPlus" business class seat which was very nice

I didn't get a chance to get over to ORD to see her land. Anyone know what runway she came in on?

So I was wrong on the flight number... I'd be curious to know if anyone at IB/AA knows if AA has had problems with people misconnecting when travelling XXX-ORD-MAD when they sub the equipment since the connection becomes significantly more difficult than normal.

I was out of the country for the second visit... oops.

The A346 will be at ORD next Friday and daily the first two weeks of June.

According to the flight information the plane was taxiing for two hours before taking off (it left the gate at 1702 and took off at 1907). What could be the reason for this?, maybe the storm you were talking about?

It actually departed from AA's T3 K19 gate.
