DL is ending Beaumont service, operated by ASA, effective 30JUN05. The city just can't support service outside of Texas. Hopefully they can attract AA in there to DFW.
ATL flights did very poor with twice a day CRJ service.
It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.

That is too bad, but I am not very surprised. When they launched DFW-BPT with a lot of political and financial support, the main purpose of the route was Dallas O&D traffic. In fact, IIRC, a significant amount of the DFW-BPT traffic was O&D.

I would not be surprised to see CO Express go all turbo prop unless they have contractual obligations to keep one RJ on the route. BPT is my home airport and I still to this day cannot understand why the people around here will not support the airport. There are well over half a million people within 60 miles of the airport. I guess people around here do not travel that much or choose to drive to Houston. I hope Eagle will come back to BPT as they did very well originally they just had to pull out due to their contract with AA. It is sad to think we used to have 5 or 6 airlines at one time now only down to 1 and it is the one that flies 90 miles...Go figure and I guess I will just wait for those occasional diversions to come into to BPT....I am still holding my breath for the return of Southwest into Beaumont !!
