I've recently been running some adhoc flight planning for this company in Africa, however the information supplied is lacking in quite a few areas. They do not appear to have any flight planning system,or flt ops/dispatch office.

Does anyone have any background info on this airline ? They don't appear to be..um..organised  Wink .

Chanchangi Airlines is based in Nigeria. IIRC, they have several ex-AA 727s. Unorganized? No, just normal for civil aviation in Nigeria.

Biggles, they operate 727-200s and 737-200s. They will be adding 737-300 imminently for regional flights to Accra and Abidjan, among others. The owner is a Mr. (Alhaji) Chanchangi while the Ops Director is a Mr. Wellington who I recall is an Irish citizen (I might be mistaken). Have you attempted to extract more info about Chanchangi flight planning systems?

PhilSquares, won't you ever give Nigeria a break from your increasingly rhetorical+predictable anti-Nigerian stance. While Chanchangi might be more compromising due to the harsh economic conditions, some Nigerian operators such as AJ, B3, etc. are in fact conforming to international standards in both operational / maintenance sides. So I would suggest you revisit your opinions that "unorganized" is normally Nigerian.
