Rumour has it the first DH8-Q400 airtanker may be making it's debut soon. Developed by Conair/Cascade Aerospace in Abbotsford (YXX), it may start proving flights and test drops soon. Anticipated to perfrom at Abbotsford airshow (depending on how active airtanker fleet is and whether it is pushed into service) this summer. Likely bases of operation Abbotsford, Prince George or Kamloops. Hope to know more soon!
