LAN operates up to nine daily flights, Aerolineas Argentinas up to five daily flights. In addition, Air France has one daily flight, Air Canada operates four times weekly, Avianca three times weekly.

AC definitely has 5th freedom rights---in fact when you search for best fares from EZE-SCL AC often comes up as best option. They use 763s on the route.

LH is daily, as is AF, but AC is actually only a total of 7x weekly between the two directions. (I believe 5x SCL-EZE and 2x EZE-SCL, although that may be backward). All 3 have freedom rights, but I'm not sure about AV.

Yes they are. GRU-EZE is operated with the 744 and GRU-SCL with the 346.

BTW, does anyone know if RG still has the rights to operate EZE-SCL?

Cheers,

AR operates only narrowbodies. Mainly 735s and M88s.

Out of LA's 9 frequencies, about 4 or 5 are operated with widebodies: 763s and A340s.

AF flies 772s and AC 763s on that route.

Not at all Marcos. AV keeps flying regularly between EZE and SCL.

AV095 goes BOG-SCL-EZE-BOG, and operates 4 times a week; 2 in 757 and 2 in 762.

AV099 does BOG-EZE-SCL-BOG, and operates the remaining 3 days; all in 762 service.

Hence AV has one daily flight to both airports to/from BOG. The airline flies SCL-EZE on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. EZE-SCL is flown the other three days. Flights are opened for booking and appear in most reservation systems.

I'm afraid I have got different information, Fede. Although sometimes inaccurate, Aeropuertos 2000's website usually shows correct information. AA2000 says:

AV 087 Bogotá > Buenos Aires / Ezeiza 06:10
AV 088 Buenos Aires / Ezeiza > Bogotá 08:00

I tried to confirm this at Avianca's webpage, but it says I have to call their Call Center. I also talked about this with Andrés (757MDE), and we couldn't decipher who was right and who wasn't.

According to LA's website, it depends. Some are operated with A320s and some with A319s. However, sometimes one can spot a LA 732 at EZE.

Marambio

Strange. Both Amadeus [worldwide known and used as you know] and Avianca's official online schedules show the intineraries I posted above.

Yep, strange indeed. Nonetheless, in this case I tend to believe Amadeus and Avianca more than AA2000, no matter how accurate their website usually is. Besides, they have been flying the route via SCL for a long time now and there's no real reason for splitting it into two flights.

Quoting ArgInMIA (Reply 20):

Well, let's see.

LA = 10 flights
AR = 5 flights
AF = 1 flight
AC = 1 flight
AV = 1 flight

So, all in all I count 18 flights on the busiest day.

Marcos, I doubled checked, and it's a bit clearer now. Flights AV87/88 apparently operate temporarily during the very slow off-season periods.

On June 1st and until August 30, the schedule goes back to normal, with the daily triangle routing I mentioned before.

Yes, 15 days to go. It's even more understandable that these schedules are being applied given AV's critical situation of fleet shortage.
