When is the busiest time during the day for Immigration at SFO?
I viewed flight tracker at 8:07am arrivals and all in a row were six Intl flights.

I would imagine this to become quite crazy . . .

BEIJING 0840 UA888 0815
HO CHI MINH 0855 UA862 0827
HONG KONG 0925 UA852 0848
INCHEON 0815 UA892 IN CUSTOMS 0738

and the next isnt till I belive ~

Between 12 and 2 PM a whole bunch of european flights arrive...KL, BA, AF, VR. Together with KE and CX at the same time this will fill up the room in Terminal A quite a bit; Generally takes about an hour, although I was once lucky with a late arrival of KL from AMS, within 3 minutes I was through immigration!

I think that early afternoon would be the peak period. The last time I flew into SFO was on the BA flight that left LHR at 10.50 and arrived approx 13:45. We were still in the immigration queue when passengers from the later BA flight, which normally leaves LHR at 12:55, arrived.

Depends on which concourse. The "G" side (United and Star carriers, plus a few) is very busy between 8am-11am. The "A" side (most non-Star airlines) starts around 1230p-230p as AMSSFO said. The "A" side also get a evening bank with Phillippines,British (second flight), China Airlines, and a few Alaska flights arrive.

Speaking from first hand knowledge, "G" term is busy from 0745 to approach 1000 AM. Certain days of the week, it gets busy again from 1130 to 1300.

"A" term is busy from 1230 to 1500.

I work out of the "G" terminal.
