can anyone tell me how long the cathay pacific plane from hong kong to london stays on the ground at LHR is it a couple of hours or does it stay on the ground till 10 at night


can I have an upgrade thanks..

BOTH aircraft stay on the ground all day; the 251 arrived in at about 5.30 and leaves at about 6.35pm. The 254, operated by a 340 on about 5 days a week, is in at about 6.20 and out at about 9.30 (all times approximate).

If you are familiar with LHR you can get a very close up few of the 340 which is parked up all day at the British Midland base right next to the perimeter road.

Both LHR flights operated by CX use B747-400 under normal situation...

If CX puts 340 on LHR flights, it will probably on 254/255.

The A340 which flies HKG-LHR should be CX 255, not 254!

I think they are both 747-400's. I've seen them arrive at C.L.K. For your info they will not land before 6.00am at Heathrow due to the very high fine's !!
