What routes will the 777-300ER with a range over 10,000 miles fly? Will routes such as JFK or ORD to SYD ever be possible?

I believe ORD-SYD would be possible and almost probable if the plane can make it. That would be a very long flight though!

The 777-300ER will not have range above 10,000 miles, the 777-200LR will. The -300ER (actually I think they are calling them both LR, but anyways...) has around the same range as the 747-400.
