Flt UA 43 DEN To HNL Today, 5-23

Does anyone know the reason Flt UA 43 is stopping in SFO today? It is normally a non-stop flight. The plane took off about the same time.

Also, this flight tends to run late. Why?

Any info is appreciated.

Well it would run late because it is going to be fighting the jet stream the whole way. I bet it runs early heading eastbound from HNL.

Don't know about today...could be particularly strong headwinds, a sick passenger, who knows. But the general lateness could be a result of holding the flight for connecting passengers from the East/Midwest.

It was an operational stop. Guess there were range issues with this 763... it was weight restricted going out, and even with significant load seats, it still had to make a tech stop.
