Maybe just about everywhere? Also notice that mileage recognition applies to CA operated international flights, so the the scope of cooperation is actually pretty wide. Much more than the current CX/MU deal.

If you're used to CX ,you may be sorely disappointed with CA. From my limited experience (10 flights), short haul domestic flights are good, but long haul international is poor. Seat pitch in economy is good, but IFE is poor (mainscreen only, playing in flight health video half way through a film but not pausing the film so when it resumed we had missed 30 mins of it ) ,planes are a bit rough round the edges ( gaffer tape covering missing armrest cover ), service a bit slapdash (serving a packet of biscuits 45 mins before landing on a 10 hour flight because someone had forgotten they were there), only soft drinks available(although beer counts as a soft drink!) and occasional safety worries eg. plane taking off before the safety video has finished , complaining to flight attendant about loose seat cushions without any response.
Overall, unless you're tall and need the legroom I would avoid if possible best description is that they are like Lufthansa but without the style ,service and western standards.
Don't try to keep up with the Joneses - bring them down to your level !

With CX having invested 10% in CA and now having a closer FF relationship, are they setting themselves up for a possible Oneworld entry. I know CA has a code share realtionship with UA at this time and there was a rumor of a Star entry but it seems Oneworld would possibly make more sense.

That leads me to question how much suffrage CX has within oneworld. I don't really see a membership coming until Air China works out any cooperative schemes with BA and AA. As always, it is these two airlines across the Atlantic who call the big shot... Of course there are always the extra hurdles that Air China is a close partner with many Star carriers, at least for the time being.
