Or is it a one-off retro-jet???? Either way it is GORGEOUS! Simple bright red stripe on the clean, white MD11. Saw a glimpse on takeoff this morning in the TechOps hangar, and it was parked it the cargo area this evening on return. Can't wait to see pics!

It's a retro and will fly to Vietnam next month to comemmorate the baby-lift flight of 1975, at the end of the war. Some of the original passengers and crew will be along. Routing will be ATL-Oak-TPE-SGN. I'm glad you like the paint job and I'm also anxious to see pictures of it!

It is absolutley amazing, they polished every bare metal surface on it, more so than any AA plane I've EVER seen.
