Great news for Hawaiian, Now please just come to the East Coast. Does anyone know if that is in the cards one day, or are they going to rely on America West (U.S.airways) to feed from eastern/central cities?

It's just rumors and speculation now, but once they're out of bankruptcy on June 1st they'll be looking to expand. How much and how far depends on how many good aircraft they can find on the market. Rumored destinations include JFK, BWI, ATL, ORD & DFW, plus possible expansion west to Asia.
But again, it's all rumors for now.
One smooth landing is skill. Two in a row is luck. Three in a row and someone is lying.

DFW would be bad. AA has a lot of capacity, as does CO at IAH, and not just to HNL. ORD has AA and UA.
JFK would be cool. CO has only one non-stop flight out of EWR, with nice high fares. All other airlines have connecting or direct service only. Imagine flying from the east coast with the Mahalo and Aloha starting at the gate. Plus the digEplayer product really pays off on a 10 hour flight (in air). And the return is a true 9hr red-eye where you have time to sleep!
