What differentiates the traditional AA-DFW, DL-ATL (etc.) hub and spoke system with the JBLU-JFK system? Jetblue isn't running flights from Rochester to Florida non-stop. They connect through their hub.
Yet JBLU is not considered hub and spoke. So what's the difference?
Is it quantity of flights?
Is it scheduling (as in one flight won't wait for a connecting flight to land?)
