Big Three In China Code Share With Each Other

just read this on MU's website, CA, MU, and CZ are going to code share with each other on CAN-PVG and CAN-PEK routes as well as some unspecified routes. i don't really understand why this should happen. JL and NH never codeshare, don't see AN and QF code share either. it actually makes far more sense say for CA to codeshare with FM out of PVG rather than MU. any comments?
