Charter Flights To Corse (Corsica)

I remember Air 2000 operating charter flights to Calvi and Figari for many summer seasons and I wondered if these were still operating? Also is there any other charter flights into any of the Corsican airports from the UK?

Do any other European carriers have charter flights into either Calvi, Bastia, Figari or Ajaccio?

We got Sky Work Airlines (SRK) every Saturday from Bern (BRN) to Figari. This service is flown by Sky Works only Do328 on behalf of a tour operator in the region of Bern

Transavia.com used to fly between Amsterdam-Ajaccio during busy summer periods with Boeing 737-700/800's. Not sure if they still do this year...

According to MAN's website, a weekly charter operates each Sunday to Calvi with Astraeus, whilst Figari gets a BA charter on the same day each week. These operate on behalf of Holiday Options, Portland Direct and Thomson Holidays.

In addition, I'm sure that LGW still has services to Bastia and Ajaccio on a summer charter basis but haven't got any details.

There was an interesting article in Airliner World recently focusing on Ajaccio, Calvi and Bastia airports. I seem to remember reading that there was a weekly charter to Calvi from EDI last summer (with a photo of a Channex 733 at the airport), but don't know if this is operating again this summer.

Of course, Dan Air and BIA used to have Corsica well served from the UK with their 1-11's.

This seems to be one of the main tour operators to Corsica
