They've done a much better job incorperaing orders/deliveries into specific models than the previous website. At least on my machine, the page also loads much faster. The new colors are a blessing, I was so tired of that mid-80s scheme.
Isn't perfect, but it's an improvement.

Does anyone know where the Excel orders chart went?

Quoting EI321 (Reply 6): Yeah, I always thought the old one was a bit too vague with orders info.

How much simpler could they have made it other than putting a button at the bottom of the pay saying "CLICK HERE FOR ORDERS/DELIVERIES"???
LOL
I thought it was quite easy to find, and very hard to miss that excel file. The rest of the website though, not so navigation-friendly. This one is far better!

It required an Excel chart that was both a pain to load and navigate...
Quoting Jutes85 (Reply 9): looks like they have Boeing beat on this one
Not at all... it's easy to navigate, but it still lacks the in-depth information provided by Boeing's Airport Planning guides.

Looks good indeed!
Did you check the images? Do I miss something or are large images only for press? I have downloaded high-resolution images from Airbus before to use them as desktop wallpaper, and I wanted to do the same now! That's one bad thing I find.

I still quite like Boeings site though. Not sure which is 'better'.
And why the hell is there still so little info about the A350!!! I know they are being coy 'till Paris but even a little bit more would be nice to see.

The new website is great. I hope this prompts Boeing into updating their website. They could make it a little more user friendly, like getting to each of the aircraft families.

Check Flight International (24-30 May), page 11. Article is called "Airbus Eyes Extended-Range A350" in which airbus has clarified where the A350 currently has gotten to. Also interesting reading:
-page 13 (Airbus in Rescheduling Talks) talking about the deliveries of the A380 to the first three cutomers
-page 26 (A380 sale looms as Conran joins 'Protect U') talking about private VIP A380s deal struck with Lufthansa Technik
I know I know, I was bored today so I did some reading. LOL

Holy moly, that interior video of the 380... I think I've just wet myself. I'm off to watch it again, then again, and maybe when I'm done watching it, I'll watch it a little more.
But seriously I love the new site (and please lets not get into who's website is better A or B, that really would be taking it too far).
Quote: A380 First flight
19 July 2004
Toulouse-Blagnac International Airport, France
On April 27, 2005, the first A380 took to the air for a successful first flight that lasted three hours and 54 minutes, and landed in Toulouse, France at 14.23 local time.
Is it just me, or does that date of 19 July 2004 not make any sense with in the context of the paragraph?
Maybe I'm just nitpicking.
This is your captain speaking. I’ve turned off the no-smokin’ sign. Hell, if the plane is smokin' why can't you?

I also like the new site but I'm rather amused that one of the first things I read is...
the [2005] Airbus order book also includes 22 A330/A340, allowing this family's sales to surpass the 900 mark, becoming the best selling twin-aisle passenger aircraft ever
"Best selling twin-aisle ever"? Hmmm. I'm sure they'll come up with a reason why that statement is correct but on the face of it it seems a little optimistic!
