Now that Flybe have bought their new planes they are planning to introduce 4 new routes from EXT from this winter. Anyone any ideas what they are?

My predictions are:

Amsterdam
Geneva
Aberdeen
Munich or Frankfurt

I might dig my own grave with another rumour, but EXT-Toulouse or Nice were possibilities. Also possible expansion of services out of Manchester.

This article was written a while ago and states AMS as a possible new destination from EXT. http://www.thisisexeter.co.uk/displa...ernalSearch&formname=sidebarsearch

I'm going to back you on this EGTE.  Silly

Would agree with that. U2 seem to have stalled up here, and FR are beginning to catch a steal on them, so maybe an expansion from LPL is more likely than MAN.

Debate is what you put on de hook when you want to catch de fish.

They are apparantly starting up 12 new routes from Southampton too! The airport is rather busy at present, so i dont see how they will base new aircraft here and start new routes. Does anyone know the new SOU routes?

Yes !! Come on Flybe, a route EXT-NCE is required. How can they serve PGF but not NCE ? Bizarre and other-worldly.

Geneva was served as a charter destination from EXT but never scheduled. The only scheduled BE flights that GVA has seen were from SOU.

No, I didn't mean EXT-MCT, I mean expansion of services from Manchester, instead of just Southampton.

I would put money on Amsterdam, Chambery and Geneva being three of the four. I would also expect a NWI-CMF.

I would say that Murcia is a definite out of EXT - considering its already served from Southampton and Birmingham. possibly Almeria too. La Rochelle seem a likely candidate too and maybe Bordeaux or Bergerac or Toulouse.

I see the sunshine/second homes markets being the most likely flybe will add out of EXT.

Non-sunshine destinations such as Amsterdam and Munich I can't see coming out of EXT until after such services are introduced from Southampton.

Why there ? These are Ryanair-style middle-of-nowhere destinations. NCE NCE NCE !!! Loads more people have second homes down this neck of the woods than in poxy Bergerac.

Poxy Bergerac?! Sounds as you think of there the same way Tottenham think of Arsenal!

I'm sure Bergerac is very lovely in it's own way, but its not huge on the list of major French destinations. You can't even fly there from Paris at all, which gives you some idea of it's non-service-worthy status. So a few Daily Mail readers bought disused electrical substations there for their summers in the country, big deal.

FLY TO NCE, BE !! Don't make me come over there...

8 Bergerac flights a week fom Southampton means they are doing something right!
Could DBV be a possible from SOU in the summer?
