i think i've seen pictures like that before, where a door gets cut off by some piece of ground equipment, but i found the note about the fokker at the bottom of that article more interesting. when did the fokker run in to troubles?

It was probably Door 2L. That is usually the door that UAL uses to board/deplane pax on the 772, unless of course the station has a dual jetway, in which case they would use Doors 1L and 2L.

Yes, it was Door 2L. As of this writing the aircraft is scheduled to be ferried TPE-SFO on June 8th as flight 9914 Departing 1130, and arrving 0745.
