A little off-topic but I know ABX was bought by DHL correct? And ABX planes are being repainted into the DHL yellow scheme right? Do they still use the 'ABEX" callsign or is that going to be changed to something else?

DHL bought Airborne Express ground and delivery service. The Airline is now and independant campany called ABX Air. DHL will be their biggest customer but they will also fly freight for anyone who needs it. As a good will jesture they will paint some of the ABX Air in the DHL livery but the rest of the fleet will be repainted into the new ABX scheme. There is a few pictures in the database of the new colors. Once the move of DHL's sort from CVG to ILN is complete, some of the DHL planes will be retired depending on age.
UPS and FedEx sued to stop the merger based on a foreign company owning so many planes that they would have aquired if the AC came with the deal, so this is how they solved the problem, by breaking off ABX. You can read about it and see the new livery at http://www.abxair.com/
Not true. We at UPS make more that ABX does. While their hourly pay is higher than ours, they are only paid a 65 hour guarentee for 12 pay periods vs. UPS' 75 hour guarentee for 13 pay periods. Therfore when you multiply it out, UPS pays more than ABX.
