No , those where the only two pictures I found , but I have a question is it me or did they just reorganize the Avianca titles ? Like I have seen on the 767 and the MD . That the titles where remove from the windows ,like it is on the 757

Quoting DeltaWings (Reply 2): Looks good. Does anyone know if Avianca is looking for new aircraft in near future?
DeltaWings
Actually, that plane and another MD-83 are new additions to the fleet this year. They will ad a 6th 757 and have already added a 6th 767, plus the F100s next year.
After all this additions the fleet should be of around 45 aircraft.

No, only the F100s and one of the MD-80s. AA is refurbishing 29 F100s for the Synergy Aerospace Group. This group comprises of 4 airlines, Oceanair from Brazil, Wayra from Peru, Vipsa from Ecuador and the flagship, Avianca. Of the 29 aircraft, it has been said 8 will go to AV.

Actually, the two MD-83s come from AA, and are ex-Reno Air.
The planned 757, for now, is just that, mere plans. Last I knew, the company was looking at one used 757, that, unfortunately, did not meet the conditions required by AV. At this pace it seems it will get written in next year's agenda.

The newly painted AV livery MD-83 is N836RA, c/n 56043, l/n 1794.
It is not N598 as depicted on the pictures.
It is being serviced with a major D check at maintenance here at BOG and will have the JT8D-219 engines reinstalled sometime next week when it will be readied for its first revenue passenger flight with AV at the end of June.

Just Beautiful as I expected it to be.
Now we're only due for the F-50s, which I hope they don't completely discard from the fleet. Those AV F-50s are known to be wanted by some Airlines of high places for their special engines... I recall a friend telling me some Ecuadoran Airline was searching for that kind of planes, don't remember if it was Icaro or VIP s.a, if it was VIP maybe we could some sort of transfer in the future. I don't want to see them out anyways.
I gladly accept donations to pay for flight hours! This thing draws man...

My understanding is that AV can't ruled them all out, because certain airports in Colombia are not suitable for the F-100's because of altitude.
I miss ACES, I am proud of AVIANCA & I am loyal to AMERICAN

Some Fokker-50 Will stay in the fleet for a while since the F-100 can't handle with Manizales, but the F-50 can so AFAIK some F-50s will stay only to serve that airport (la Nubia)
I hope AV757 can help me on this issue.

I don't know, I don't think every destination Avianca has can handle a F-100 not only because of the Airport (Manizales case), I talked this with Fede via MSN some time ago, and I don't really think Barrancabermeja for example has enough demand for a F-100, although they've got the petroleum yields but I don't know, I don't see the F-50 serving only MZL, let's hope I'm right with this one.
