Question 1: Did the movie "The Delta Force," with Chuck Norris, get's its plot from this hijacking?
Question 2: At the end of the article, it says, "...Both sides make last minute counter-demands, the Americans for the freedom of seven other kidnapped victims, along with the 39 victims of the hijacking of Flight 847, the Shi'ites for a variety of small concessions. Nothing comes of any of these ancillary demands." Does that mean that there still are 46 hostiges in Lebanon?

No; all the passengers from the TWA 727 were finally released after the negotions broke through. The only fatality was the Navy diver that was shot in the head.
This 727-200 is still flying with TWA in the new colors and the airline plans to keep it for a few more years. I saw this plane in 1998 at the airport in Hollywood Florida.
