www.zurich-airport.com tells the following:
LX345 uses T1 which means Concourse A for LX
LX236 does not operate today, but tomorrow (11-JUN); gates can bei either A or E (speculating on one of them will just be speculation; also www.swiss.com does not state the gate area; a/c will be a A343).
You should check the Departure gate for LX236 online tomorrow to get a hind (but that´s no guarantee for your date, of course)
In case you´re flight from LHR is delayed, 45 min are a rather short connection time anyhow. In general 45 min should be no problem for connections within concourse A; connecting from A to E would require a trainride - and you still have to pray for that your luggage will arrive together with you
Carpe diem ! Life is too short to waste your time ! Keep in mind, that today is the first day of the rest of your life !

45 minutes shouldn't be a problem. Even when you have to change from the A-gates to the E-gates. You have to use the train but it runs every three minutes and ride takes 2 minutes. Also baggage handling is fast in Zurich. The airport's goal is to become one of the airports with the shortest transfer times (in comparison to airports of similar size).

45 minutes sounds like enough pretty much for any airport when connecting with the same airlien from one flight to another. I donno about your bags, because they have to unload everyone's bag, then yours will have to go to the connecting flight, it mgiht not make it.
Question: Don;t some airlines put a special sticker on bags that will face a rather short connection time, so the baggage handlers know???
