Close to disaster in Norway!
An 80 year old car driver was today of an accident driving on the runway at Bodö airport in Norway. He was just ten meters away to crashing with a SAS Fokker 50 who at the last moment managed to fly over him.

It was about 29 passangers in the aircraft.
The man was able to get into the airport becuse a gate stod open. The 80 year old driver got a tireble shock.

Regards

If this isn't an airtight reason to put age restrictions on driving, I don't know what is. Granted the gate was left open, and that's a separate security issue, but how could he NOT know that he was driving on a runway?????????

"Attention SAS Flight XXX traffic on the runway."

Gives that a new meaning!

I'm sorry I couldn't help but to laugh  . An 80-year-old man driving on the runway HE MUST BE AS BLIND AS A BAT!!!!!!!!! There is something called corrective vision but since this incident occured in another country I do not know if the rules apply to that country.
