I will be traveling into DFW tomorrow and was hoping to meet up with family that just happen to be connecting through DFW around the same time.We are all arriving at terminal A but as I am overnighting in Dallas was wondering if anyone had any advice how we could easily meet up, my family have around a two hour lay over.
Any advice would be gratefully received

Since you are an international traveler you will have to clear customs/immigration first. After you claim your baggage unless you are continuing on your journey that day you must leave the terminal. There is only one exit for customs in Terminal A.
If your family is in transit to another country they will be escorted to a transit lounge right after they deplane. If this is the case you will not be able to visit with them. If they are headed to a stop in the US you might see them in Customs.
Be aware that there is not anything to do except smoke outside of DFW airport terminals. There is a hotel at the airport but you will need to take a Taxi to the hotel and one back to the terminal.
Good luck and enjoy your visit.
"Any airline that wants to serve the [region] can go to DFW today and fly anywhere they want," WN spokesman Ed Stewart

You may have a hard time...From immigration you come up right next to A39 (on an elevator) but on the other side of security. Therfore to get to security you need a ticket, but you wont have ticket till the next day. See if you family can meet you on the other side of security. Terminal A is big, but it is walkable. You can walk throughout the terminal from outside secuirty.

You don't need to take a Taxi you can take the terminal link shuttle to Term C where the Hyatt is and they have a bar and a resturant in the hotel.
