You might need to dd a definition to "city". I can think of large areas of South America, Africa, India and Asia that are lacking in alliance access by all three alliances. Some of these cities are larger than many places that western based cities, they simply lack economic clout to justify airline services.

I believe ANC does not have One-World in the winter months, AA doesn't fly here . . .

We have NW,UA,AS,F9,HP,DL,CO in the winter. In the summer add AA.

Yeah I was going to say there are more cities receiving commercial traffic that don't have all 3 alliances than cities that do.

Not entirely true. MEL has SkyTeam. KLM codeshares on all of Malaysia Airlines' 2x daily flights KUL-MEL-KUL, all of which carries "KL" code. Air France also codeshares on Qantas' SIN-MEL-SIN services, they too carry "AF" codes. FlyingBlue members can fully accrue/claim their mileages on all of these flights.

I'm sure those count too  Wink

Are we talking alliances with commuters, like a destination that is served by American Eagle, Delta Connection, United Express, and Northwest Airlink? If so, Traverse City does have all three. So does Key West, American Eagle, US Air Express, Delta Connection.

Huntsville

Assuming you mean Huntsville, AL (HSV), then they do have all three.

American = OneWorld
Delta/Northwest/Continental = SkyTeam
USAirways = Star

In Brazil, only GIG and GRU are served by the three alliances. All other major airports including BSB, SSA, POA, FOR, REC and CNF only keeps Star Service (RG/TP). SSA have a LAN service.

I think I will rephrase the question:

What INTERNATIONAL airports do not have service from all three alliances?

International being defined as an airport with at least one daily scheduled nonstop international flight.

I was going to mention my old hometown airport ABI, but someone beat me to it!

We don't have Star Alliance there, only oneworld (AAEagle) and SkyTeam -- but SkyTeam is only partial, becuase it's Colgan/COconnection, and I don't believe those flights qualify for NW or DL miles.

Even international you have a lot of cities. Adding to RCS763AV: Salvador, Brasilia, Cordoba, Recife, Manaus, Luanda...

Better to ask for countries.

MGA
HDN

two of the (i'm sure) hundreds

25 Kkfla737 : Chennai (MAA) just got SkyTeam service for the first time with Delta's new service. I believe Bangalore and Hyderabad right now do not have Sky Team s
26 FlyMIA : Luanda has all three. British Airways, Air France, and TAP. Air France and Northwest start Bangalore service this fall. All three starting this fall
27 Kkfla737 : Hyderabad must lack One World service as well.
