It most likely will be going to FLL. The last time they had the 175 here at JFK and it went to almost every city. As for a time. Your best bet will be around 9:30am. Oh, and as for the gate. It can change but for right now they are saying gate 1.

You'll see it for sure. When it flies into the US from Brazil they'll stop in FLL as Embraer has it's main US Office there.

The other stops on the tour will probably include B6's Northeast cities: BOS, BUF, SYR, ROC, possibly BVT.
Edit: I know there will be a tour before it enters service, whether this is the start of it or not I don't know.
I thought there was a bureaucratic stop at GRU for whatever reason...? I've also seen a few pics of ERJs going to the U.S. and Europe (AA, CO, or BA) at GRU, anyone knows the reason for that?
Thanks,

The plane it's still a Brazilian export. SJC does not keep with International Customs (only International Airports with Cargo Terminal) so it's necessary to fly to GRU (or GIG) to obtain clearance (Export Register "RE"). After that the plane can fly to final destination. I really think it's what happen.

well I got to see it today for the first time. it blocked in about 7:45am et at gate 1 as they said. Since I'm a ramper, i went right for the belly and its small but not that small. Its pretty long but the ceiling is small. The cockpit is roomy and the cabin very comfortable. Lavs are bigger then I thought but I think all lavs are small. Next stop for it will be Boston and was told it will be off the block at 7pm et tonight. I hope some of you got a chance to see it at JFK. You'll be seeing much more of it in B6 livery.

I went on the E190 today and had some time to walk around the interior and the exterior. There really is no degradation of space or service from the A320 in this plane, some may even say its better with no middle seat. My one complaint about the interior was the lack of overhead storage space for bags. I was told however that B6's configuration would fix this problem. Cockpit was great, they even put a touch-pad on the center console for easy navigation. Baggage compartment was small, don't know if they will have to restrict the bags people bring on these things when they start flying.
There are two maturity flights coming up on the next two Saturdays. I believe they will involve this same aircraft. Destinations on the flights include two other cities B6 serves in the northeast region. I hope to be on one of them.

There going to have to restrict baggage. I have no idea on how they would do that considering the size of bags people bring. I've see it all to this point. Everything is being worked out though. It going to depend on what routes there put on and how there used as for a connection. You can bet that they will be used as a shuttle between IAD, JFK and BOS. For right now though, things are hush, hush. Look for a new city though real soon. Not saying what it is though but it shouldn't be a surprise to any of you.

Consider the flights wont be transcon... think of SYR, BUF, ROC flights.. baggage is at a minimum. There also may be alot more business travelers... most likely very little to no luggage.
Only time I think there may be trouble is christmas and holiday seasons when people pack heavy.
The cargo bin... although not very tall looked VERY long.
Overall it looked great.
I am not sure if you got the open the cargo door but it seemed overly complicated to both open and close since you have to manual open the vent unlike the airbus which opens along with the door lock.
Closing the door requires hooking it and pulling it down.. holding it while you put away the hook then shutting it... eh

it does look like a nice plane. does anyone know if this plane is "front heavy"? from the looks of pictures of it, it seems like the wheels are closer together (the main gears and nose gear) towards the front rather than a bit more spaced out between the length of the fusalage.
