I am planning on flying to SFO – ORD on Friday August 5th and I want to see if I can get there 747-400. Will United still have there 747-400s on that route by then?

No...there's a 777 (UA843, leaving SFO at 1:55P), two 763's (the redeye, UA158, and the morning flight, UA160), five 752's (the departures from 8:35A to 11:50A), a 320 (UA152, the late afternoon flight, getting into ORD at 10:14P), and a 319 (UA156, the evening flight, leaving SFO at 6P, arriving ORD at 11:58P)

You can take UA 770 SFODEN (747-400) at 12:50 pm and then continue on to ORD on UA 256 (777-200ER) at 6:35 pm. That's about the only scheduled domestic 747 out of SFO for the summer.

Yes, it goes to DEN and back to SFO at 17:35 the same day.

I am not sure if I can get any deals on this flight or not.
I plan on flying to Chicago, then New York several days later for the JFK Airliners.net meet and then back to San Francisco.
