Hey guys,

I just booked a flight BOS-MAN-GLA on AA and I went to BA's site to find out what the BA flight number for the MAN-GLA leg is (it turns out to be BA1842). When I clicked on the flight number to get a bit more information on the flight (I knew the details, but it's always fun to do) I noticed that the aircraft type is shown as: Boeing Dash 8-300 turbo prop! Nice one BA!

You can try it yourself, the date is July 23, 2005, MAN to GLA, at 9am.  Smile

Well, it did used to be Boeing Canada, before Boeing sold it again, so going back a few years it would have been accurate.

In the BA fleet list it is referred to as the De Havilland Dash 8. I've also seen it being referred to as the Bombardier Dash 8. But I have never seen it being referred to as a Boeing...

I think they built that to compete with the Airbus 1900D....
