I am here to advise the members here on a.net that currently the Sunset Beach Bar ( http://www.sunsetbeachbar.com/ ) has been temporaily closed. This is due to many different reason including but not limited to back taxes. Story is on the front page of the full Daily Herald today. According to the story, the island receiver's office places a lien on properties not in compliance and 10 to 30 days later, an auction is held. But going by there today many items were already being sold. Bar stools and some equipment.

The area around the bar is still open so you can still go in and take pictures and go down to the beach but for getting a drink there, well its out of the question right now.

I do have the owners email address but I feel like I should not post it here. You can contact me via email on this site and I will send it to you.

P.S MSYtristar I have not forgotten you I just up and moved down here I found a great house in the Beacon Hill area (keep on going down the road from SSBB, #26) I still have my wow account for Robyn.

Sorry I moved from SXM, looking for a new house on Anguilla now!

Oh NO! Dammit, hopefully it won't get turned into something else if and when it gets sold. I like my drinks, planes, beach, and women combo!

if you look at where he is writing from and knew anything about the airport and spotting there, you'd be able to quickly tell what he's talking about.

Either you're living in a vacuum, never click on the great SXM pictures with the Sunset Beach Bar, noticed his country is the Netherland Antilles, or bothered to click the website Panaman listed, he's talking about the Maho Beach bar.  Smile

If you see me posting something stupid it just means I'm drunk!

Or it could be because you're in the South of France.  bigthumbsup

I'll be there in January '06. I sure hope someone gets it open again. I hear they have some wild girls in there. Free drinks for the ladies if they take their tops off. All this and planes too. My kind of place.

Panaman, too bad too hear about the bar. That was on my short list of places to visit. But by the time I get down there it'll probably be open again who knows.

Check your email one of these days. I have a lot to fill you in on.

I'm off for SAT on Sunday and then STL on Thursday. Busy, busy, busy.
