Charter NYC- Ukraine

Every year I go with roughly 1000 Americans to the Ukraine from New York for a religious event. We stay for about 5 days in September. Most people fly through one of the European gateways and then on to KBP on Air Ukraine. My question would be roughly how much would it cost to charter a plane for 300 people that would go from either EWR or JFK to either Kiev or Odessa and how would I go about doing it.

Contact World Airways or ATA. I think there is a link on the World Airways site to request price info for chartering an a/c. Good luck

Transmeridian Airlines was doing charters flights to Kiev and beyond in the Ukraine from ORD and JFK in May. On a 757 with a fuel stop in Iceland. But I think it is over now. It was sponsored by some big Ukraine travel agency in Chicago.

Nope. CO is flying EWR-TXL, 3980mi and that is pushing the limit for a 757. JFK-IEV is 4675 mi, so it will need a fuel stop.

Not without an ETOPS certification, which we don't have. THe trips never happened, the charterer backed out.

Aerosvit flies to Kyiv from NYC once or twice a week, why charter a plane?

"Aerosvit" office in New York:
Tel.: 1+212 661 1620
New York, NY 10170, USA
420 Lexington Avenue; Suite 2930

For charter information:
orion@aerosvit.us

Chartering an aircraft from a Ukrainian based operator makes the most economic sense. Other charters would charge you a penalty for the time the aircraft sits on the ground in Kiev.

Sadly, I think VVs 767s are only configured to seat 200 or so folks.

Now would be the time to request it, the September schedules aren't firm, and there would be time to get a crew and a plane together.

thank you for telling me, I actually miss read their schedule. Aerovist's flights times do not really work as that they have no return flight on Thursday and the Friday flight gets us in to close to the Sabbath
