Bellview Airlines (B3) is resuming flights to Mumbai - twice weekly from 20th June with nonstop 767-300 ER service. They used to fly to Mumbai a long time ago and abruptly left without any explanation.
Any more details on their new service? Who are the handing agents in Mumbai etc..?

The aircraft stays in Mumbai for a 10 hour layover (crew rest) as it is the same crew who fly the aircraft back to Nigeria.
To perfect VIASA's fleet listing for Bellview:
5 B737-200 all active, leased
1 B767-200ER in service
1 B767-200ER expected in the next few weeks, to cover Freetown-London and Freetown-Lagos-Johannesburg flight. The received clearance for both sectors.
The current route network covers 16 destinations in West Africa/Central, South Asia, and soon Europe (London) and South Africa. There were plans to launch flights to Washington DC but the airline was refused permit from its own Government for no real reason. Nigeria!

Nigeria, India to Review Air Services Agreement [Thisdayonline.com]
Nigerian High Commissioner to India, Ambassador Abubakar, Garuba Abdullahi, who made the disclosures in Mumbai at a reception organised to herald the commencement of direct flights to the Indian city Monday said at a meeting he held last Thursday in Kolkata, capital of West Bengal State of that country with the Bengal National Chamber of Commerce and Industry he informed the gathering that Bellview was resuming flights to India.
According to him, the chamber subsequently requested that Bellview’s service be extended to Kolkata, which he said, they described as "the gateway to Far East", adding that Kolkata is less than two hours flight from Bangkok, Thailand and Bhutan; 50 minutes flight from both Nepal and Bhutan and 40 minutes away from Bangladesh.

Quoting ETStar (Reply 6): Also, the 14:30 that it takes to get from LOS to BOM, attainable by a 762 at full capacity?
This must be a scheduling error as the flight should not take more than 10:30 hours with major headwind. You will notice that the outbound flight is scheduled as a 10:00 hour flight.
Quoting ETStar (Reply 6): Bellview operated the route previously with a stop at Nairobi, without a 5th between NBO and BOM, also on a 762
Actually, it was operated by the airline's sole leased Airbus A300-600R. I think the flight was suspended back in 2000 (or 2001) as it was too costly and complicated to operate a single long haul aircraft. Now, trade between Nigeria and India has been on the rise and is now estimated at $ 3 billion annually and Bellview will eventually have 2 Boeing 767-200ERs, providing some backup capability.
