im currently on SAS flight from stockholm to newark and im using their broadband feature...needless to say its fabulous! only 29$ for the entire 8 hr flight,,its a bargain

too bad their business class product is terrible

I don't think VS aircraft have laptop power points in economy. When I was on a VS 747, I didn't see any. However I was on a LGW based 744. The LHR aircraft might be different though.

FBOweb shows SAS903 north of Halifax at FL400. The rest of your route is STEAM.N224E.TAFFY..ALB.V213.SAX..KEWR so you'll go over Albany, Boston might be visible off to the left in about an hour. EWR is using the 22s today so if you can get to the left side for landing do it! Enjoy the rest of the flight. Technology is amazing.

That sounds really cool. I think the reason it's slow in the middle of the ocean is because ALL communications are slow in the middle of the ocean. Yhere's not too much satellite coverage there, because... nobody needs it there, usually. Also, they're far far away from any land base com devices.
