Hi all,
Can someone tell me more about the Irish airline "Ireair"?
Their website doesn't work for me and I even couldn't find pictures of this airline in the A.net database.
Some guy who I know cursory - and who is actually full of crap - got apparently hired by them, he onces told me that he is holding type rating for A320 and A340 (is it actually possible to have a type rating for both?), so I guess this airline is operating either A 340's or A 320's (the latter is more likely).
Where do they fly and where are they based? Is it a charter airline?

Patrick,
I have never heard about such an airline, and jp doesn't list it. The only Irish airline which sounds similar is EirJet, but it should be in the database.

Thanks Udo!
Interesting that the guy doesn't know which airline hired him, he clearly told me that it is Eireair but as I wrote in the thread starter, I believe since a long time that he is just full of shit.
It is a Private airline service, it has 10 aircraft in their fleet. I saw the A320 last friday at Dublin airport.
"Eireair is a leading international business aviation group, with its headquarters in Ireland. The Group’s services include Private Charter for VIP's, executives and leisure groups and Private Airline Services" taken from their website.

eireair?! Looking at that website at most they are a broker or agent for Private Jets. Are you sure you didn't see eirJET's A320 at Dublin last week? Look at the A320 on the www.eireair.com website. Seem familiar?

eireair have just the photo of the A320 for their website. I've never heard of it before and an A320 with only 24 seats. Thats a waste of an aircraft although I bet its comfy.
