I was about to post this, you beat me to it!  Wink

If only TG would make the titles bigger though!

When are the MD-11's receiving the new 2 class cabins?

In general I like the new Thai livery anyway, but on the MD-11 it looks really nice. Sweet.  bigthumbsup

I look forward to seeing their 777's in the new colors.

Thanks, ArtBKK!

Absolutely stunning! Without a doubt, my favorite new livery in the sky. Love the purple! What brilliant use of vibrant color in an industry where bland schemes often prevail. Perfect balance.

I think the natural beauty of the MD-11 aircraft combined with this classy and regal paint scheme makes for a beautiful combination. What a lovely bird, thank you for passing that one along...

And I agree, TG is doing things right with that new livery. It is certainly going to continue the regal look their aircraft have always carried. Wonderful.

I thought that Thai was getting rid of their MD11's? How long are they scheduled to stay in the fleet?

The new livery is excellent, and I think that TG chose something that hasn't killed the look of their aircraft, unlike some new paint schemes.

Beautiful livery indeed. I also like TG's new livery. It looks good on the MD11 too. I do think that the new livery should have larger "THAI" letters on the fuselage. Other than that, the new livery is very nice. A job well done!!! Big grin

TG is expanding services at a greater rate than it is receiving aircraft, so the MD11 stays on!

From Nov, AKL receives 3pw MD11 non-stop. These will be funded by the introduction of the A346 to MEL, on which the MD11 currently operates.

The MD11 will also go to JNB, and will continue to operate to ATH and CPH.

One thing I don't understand.. Why doesnt TG move the logo a little further up from engine #2 to prevent the flower from getting "folded" like it is now? There is surely enough space up there!

They did the same with the DC10 and it never failed to get my attention on how ugly the corporate image suddenly became.

So now Thai needs to paint the B777-200 and B777-300.

All the 737s went to Nok right?
