Will Boeing Produce Another Version Of The 727?

Will Boeing do this? Will we ever get to see a B727-300?

I am afraid not. The 2 engined 737 and 717 can do the job more efficiently. I would love to see more 3 holers but thats a fantasy.

There is no point Boeing making a "new" 727 because the 757 was the replacement for that seat range.

i don't think that that would be a good idea because it would be doing the same thing that McDonnell Douglas did, have many versions of the original DC-9-10 there would be less and less buyers if they decide to develope this aircraft.
