It was in a local paper that PanAm will begin service to the Youngstown/Warren Regional Airport. According to the paper, David Fink was in Warren talking abour his long term commitment to the airport. we`ll see how long PanAm is here. 2 months?

His "long-term commitment" in ACY lasted 6 months, which is probably a record for him.

Just like Hooters? What the hell is that supposed to mean? Hooters has never pulled out of a city. Other then RSw which was a 6 month stay. Get your facts right. Hooters never served that airport.

Get your facts straight Youngstown was quickly dropped.

I think both carriers would be better of with CAK. Most NE Ohioans dont even think about Youngstown. CAK has been the focus of things. PanAm and Hooters should jump on the ship.

YNG is getting pretty close to PIT as well so unless this is REALLY cheap, and REALLY good/convenient service, why bother?? As for the extremely local draw, the YNG/New Castle area is pretty economically depressed... that would be like starting service out of my home area VVS.

The only destination that Pan Am never close is Aguadilla, Puerto Rico (BQN).
When Pan Am 3 cancel all 727 flights and close all the stations include Sandford hub, Aguadilla continue open with flights to Santo Domingo, Punta Cana and San Juan. All flights on Jetstream 31 operate by Boston Maine Airways and Pan Am World Dominicana. The 4 J-31 based in BQN are painted in Pan Am colors. Pan Am celebrate's his 3 aniversary at BQN on MAY 24,2005.

BQN Pan Am Caribbean hub.

Clipper Connection is also starting Columbus-Rickenbacker to Portsmouth and Columbus-Rickenbacker to Stewart/Newburgh, starting in July. LCK-PSM will operate 3x weekly Friday through Sunday, and LCK-SWF will operate one-time weekly on Monday. This is in addition to LCK-SFB, which operates 5x weekly, and LCK-PIE which operates 4x weekly.

Hooters never operated in YNG maybe you are thinking of Vacation Express, when Pace operated for them?

That is on the props, right? LCK-PSM is a good long time to sit on a prop.

I'm pretty sure both LCK-PSM and LCK-SWF are on 727s, since the online booking tool offers both coach and their premium class product.

I can admit when I am wrong, though I was close, Pace/Hooters same parent company.

Wow, scheduled airline service back at YNG. Finally someone can use the 1 akwardly-set jetway that sticks out of their little 1-level terminal.

Oh okay, I thought "Clipper connection" was Pan Am terminology for regional stuff, i.e. my reasoning for thinking props. Regardless, PSM is in my favorite state, NH, but why bother flying way out there to connect to anywhere from LCK??

I think they changed it all to Clipper Connection when they put the 727's on the Boston-Maine certificate to screw the union... I could be wrong though
