The trial concerning the air Inter flight that crashed in January 1992 may start very soon.

Anyway, time (court) will tell...

A 3.3� descend gradient requires a sinkrate of around 760 fpm @ 140kts

We got to analyze this case several times in CRM training, as it is one of this very classic cases. As far as I remember there have been two Captains on board. They didn't like eachother and none of them could admit to his own mistakes. This went on, became worse and worse... and the sad result we all know.
