Alesandro is right. It was thought that the aircraft crashed of the coast of West Africa after being re-registered in Guinea and operated by Union des Transports Africains.
N844AA Ex-American Airlines 727's, one of two at OPF being converted for use by IRS Airlines in Africa. This one was stolen from Luanda, Angola on May 25, 2003. This is the last known photo of this aircraft.
