Impulse Airlines Announce $139 Air Fares!

Today Impulse announced it's unrestricted Sydney to Melbourne air fare of $AUD139 (which equates to roughly US$95 or about 50 UK pounds @ current exchange rates). This air fare has no restrictions (ie. Saturday night stay etc), you can just walk up anytime & catch the new B717-200 to Melbourne. They expect to start services with initially 3 aircraft (leased from Bavaria leasing company) on Australia's busiest air route between Syd & Mel in early June.

By the way the price does not inlcude GST, and is one way, still very good

Yeah I agree...still very good, but not as good as Virgin's promised $99 fares. Does that still stand.

What's the price of QF and AN Prices, they're about $20 deerer than impulse I thought Impulse were going to do super low fares, like $99,
