Trust me guys, you might not think it looks good in photo. But trust me.. I was climbing around this VERY aircraft on Friday, June 17th while it was still inside the hangar in Everett. And let me tell you, it was SHINY, BEAUTIFUL and brand new. It looked absolutely amazing all polished up like that. Standing next to those GE-90s, crawling around in the cargo bay, sitting in the cockpit, watching the final mod work going on in first class... trust me, it was every geek's dream come true. I even called WindowSeat, ConcordeBoy, and DL021 to brag about it while I was there, and those SoB's didn't even have the courtesy to answer their phones! lol.
Just wait til you guys see it in person.. the 777-300ER and the swoosh are much-needed additions to the tacky EVA livery. This is the first time I've ever liked their livery to tell you the truth...

It's too bad other 773 operators (other than NH) have not adopted the swooshes on their 773s (AF, JL, KE to name a few).

This livery is just plain disgusting!! YUCK!!
• What's with the 777-300ER as it seems like a sticker just stuck on.
• Puke Green, Sun Orange, White and Forest Green do not go!
• Lines do not work. With the lower fuesalge painted green and then above a wave kinda look one half seems to compete with the other.
Don't think so EVA Air. And this won't last right?

This is for their first 2 x B773ERs during the shakedown period. LHR is supposed to be the primary airport for this plane followed later by CDG. We'll have to see with regards to CDG. North America will be later....maybe late 2006 or early 2007.

Can anybody shed some light into the fact why EVA air isn't really using this plane for particularly long range operations (except London). Would it be correct to assume that they will exploit the ERs capabilities in the future though?

Hi
That livery modification dosnt do much for me, sorry! I dont think the red line on the fuselage and tail looks right.
Just my 2p.
Thanks, Philip :)

31 CcrlR: ANA had something like this when they had their first 777-300. It was never adopted to all the others though.
