I wanted to track a Lufthansa flight to Los Angeles from Munich. And I got the following message: Is this message because of possible terrorist attack warnings? Here is the message on the website bolded in red on there website..Its from www.fboweb.com

While this data is available, there are certain restrictions on who can view flights active within this region. The following excerpt from FAA documentation details precisely who can view this data:

British flight data is ...[referred to as]... the London data. The British authorities have placed on the FAA the requirement that the distribution of this data be restricted. [...]

What Users Can Get the London Data?
The British require that a user only receive the London data if it satisfies one or both of the following conditions.
It is an air carrier. This includes cargo carriers.
It owns and operates aircraft in Europe, and, therefore, pays landing fees and air traffic control fees in Europe.
If a user satisfies at least one of these conditions, it is said to be an approved recipient of the London data. The requirement imposed by the British, then, can be stated as saying that only approved recipients can receive the data. If a user does not fulfill at least one of these two conditions, then that user is not allowed to receive any of the London data.

I don't know if the Data Protection Act covers information like this. This Act basically controls the distribution and storage of data.

But what a hellishly overworded statement! Why say it in 10 words when you can say it in a hundred?!
