For an airport in such an upscale area, and which houses a number of corporate jets, HPN (Westchester County Airport) has some distinctly non-upscale occupants.
From an article in the New York Times concerning the arrest of a murder suspect:
After he was paroled in 2003, Ms. Pirro said, Mr. Grant lived in a homeless shelter at the Westchester County Airport north of White Plains. But in April, he was forced to leave that shelter, which offers counseling and job training, for refusing to follow rules ... Mr. Grant was one of a handful of Level 3 sex offenders at the airport and one of 80 in the county ... After being evicted from the shelter, Mr. Grant was allowed to spend his nights at a homeless drop-in center, also at the airport.
Funny, isn't it? HPN's neighbors go ballistic over any proposals to increase commercial flights at the airport. If they only knew ...
"Let me think about it" = the coward's way of saying "no"
