I read here in posts several months back that the first 777 for Lauda was going to be in Austrian Airlines livery and titles by June this year. Now it's July and no picture of one. Will this go thru or will they keep the 777s in the beautiful Lauda livery ?
Need a Boeing 777 Firing Order....Further to fly...T5, CI, MU, LX and LH 777s

From what I've been hearing from my Star Alliance friends, the 777 will be staying. That's why Austrian Airlines whats to do them up in full OS c/s.
Hey, they just bought another 737-800 a few months ago.
P.S. Best wishes to all of my friends in London and the UK.
All Americans are thinking about you guys during these trying times.

Quoting FrancoBlanco (Reply 12): For a charter flight (as it was in the past - a scheduled charter flight mainly for Austrian tourists
If you referring to the VIE-MUC-MIA Flights, those were normal Schedule Flights. Today these Flights would work much better as OS would have, beside the Touristic Traffic from Austria, the Transfer PAX and can feeder that Flights, a Matter we didn´t have at NG that much.

Quoting FrancoBlanco (Reply 14): But still, in the Star Alliance era I don´t see MIA being as attractive as ORD (UA ORD-VIE?) or other airports, don´t you think?
Why not ? A bunch of south american Destinations can be reached via MIA and that's even important as VIE has not one single Flight to South America.
However OS is not interested in opening new routes to the US as they are
focused on Asia and eastern europe.
