seat 9E....there's no 9F, and it's emergency exit row...can you still manage to see out the windows from there or is the view completely blocked?

on a domestic AA 777 run, what do they charge to use the in flight entertainment system?

According to seatguru.com, there is no window on the exit row, only a tiny porthole, and the 777 entertainment is free, as long as you bring headphones. Headphones are $2 on board.

Headphones are $2 but only on domestic. They are free on international.

Still, they are crap. Bring your own, preferably noise cancellation ones. The 777 is not that noisy but they really help, especially in rows 30 and back (behind the wing).

That's the 757-223 you are talking about. And yes, rows 9 and 10 are located close to the emergency exits. There is no window seat on row 9 but you can always look outside since of course there is nobody sitting by the window. So a window seat on row 10 gives you a lot of extra legroom.

I recently flew on an Air France 737-500. I was sitting on seat 9F, a window seat just in the middle of the wing. I had a lot of legroom because there is no window seat on row 8, it's an emergency exit. It's the same thing.

Have a nice flight wherever you may go.  Smile

On international flights headphones are provided free of charge on the 777. In first class Bose headsets are provided.

You also get the Bose headsets in Biz Class. These are collected before landing, while the cheapie ones in Monkey Class are yours to keep.
