Just found this articel and wanted to share with you.
New services, more ways in which to earn miles and redeem them for awards, and reciprocal lounge access are the first benefits available to customers of SWISS and Lufthansa as of July 20. Only two weeks after the airlines received cartel clearance, members of Swiss TravelClub and Lufthansa Miles & More can already benefit from the advantages of the new partnership. Swiss TravelClub members will be able to earn Club Miles on all Lufthansa-operated scheduled flights. They can also redeem previously earned miles for Lufthansa Free Tickets. Conversely, members of Miles & More can earn award and status miles on SWISS-operated flights and book award flights with SWISS. Reciprocal lounge access begins on July 20, too. Members of Swiss Circle and Swiss TravelClub Gold may use Lufthansa Senator Lounges when flying with Lufthansa. In return, HON Circle members and Senators of the Miles & More programme have access to Swiss First and Swiss Business lounges respectively whenever they fly SWISS. These customers continue to enjoy extra baggage allowance, priority baggage handling and accelerated boarding on SWISS and Lufthansa flights. Services will be further harmonised when SWISS joins the Star Alliance (foreseen for summer 2006). "We are delighted that we can already offer customer benefits so soon after receiving cartel clearance. Designated teams from both airlines are working very hard to develop further offers," stated Christoph Franz, President and CEO of SWISS.

Good news for LH/LX. In addition with the new winter flight schedule 2005/2006, the offers for LH/LX customers will be very attractive. Can't wait to see the changes in autumn for in the flight plans for ZRH/BSL/GVA. Those services will get even more attractive when LX joins STAR ALLIANCE in summer 2006.
