Finally the new Business product on Aeropostal seems to be ready. In the past months the C-class seats were not sold on the MD8x planes.
From 1st of September on this service starts again on the CCS-MIA service and will be introduced step-by-step to all international routes operated by MD8x (all except POS and some AUA-flights).
I am curious how the service will look like now that it took them almost half a year to define it.

Forgot to mention the fares:
VH oneway from 288 to 460
S3 oneway from 427 to 649
AA oneway from 729 to 814
LA oneway from 365 to 563

all fares excluding taxes.

They are quite different. In this case I would go for VH ! The fare is great and the seats in that MD82 are fine and very quiet.

I was expecting VH to introduce those seats first in the BOG route were they have been losing business pax to rival AV.

Amazing to see that VH fares are almost one third of AA's.

Does VH have any agreement with any other airline at MIA that will allow you to use their lounge.....I dont think they have one in either CCS or MIA.

It'd be nice if VH makes their presence felt by putting a lounge in CCS.

There is one in the national terminal besides Gate 1.

The international lounge was closed due to the construction work, but a new one will reopen. Maybe on 1 September.

They don't. But I am sure they will offer a lounge now that they introduce the new class.

Yes, me too. But there is nothing in sight yet in the reservation systems.

So when this new MD80 service starts to MIA, will they stop the Falcon Air 727 flights? That would be a shame.

There is still the daily MAR-MIA-VLN-MIA-MAR rotation with this nice aircraft. There is only one left in service. But it will also be replaced for winter season by MD8x.

I think that this 737 they (AeroHonduras) is using at the moment even has some capacity. And I am very surprised that they can affort to park that aircraft three days a week by only operating 4 weekly TGU-SAP-MIA.
And there are no more routes/flights in sight. This is strange and I wonder how this can work financially.
But - we are talking about Aeroposal, so you never know. Maybe they use it somehow to close the gap between CCS-SJO-SAP if Alas de Centroamerica starts. This is now scheduled to start by the end of August (I must admit really a great time right after high season !) after being posponed 1001 times since about one year. BTW: with one DC9-50 !

They don't. The aircraft is a Falcon Air 737 that is based in Miami. When it is not flying for AeroHonduras, it is doing other things, like charters or flying for Surinam Airways, who also uses Falcon Air for their Miami flights.

In the Last two weeks Aerohonduras flights have been canceled most of the time and they are blaming Falcon Air for the troubles. passengers are being sent in AA. I think they won't survive this new problems after the mess they made last christmas.

Aeropostal - Alas de Venezuela starts now it's sister airline from Costa Rica: Aeropostal - Alas de Centro America.

Here is the first aircraft of Aeropostal "Costa Rica" - an old Douglas DC-9-21.

The registration is TI-AZS - does anyone know the former registration? YV-11C, YV-12C or YV-13C?

Is the slogan still "Alas de Venezuela" (Wings of Venezuela) or is it "La Aerolinea de Venezuela"? (The Airline of Venezuela)

The legal name is "Alas de Venezuela". Aeropostal is just a kind of trademark. The former name: "Linea Aeropostal Venezolana LAV" could not be used any more since their bankruptcy. The new owners had to find a new legal name.
"La Aerolinea de Venezuela" is only a kind of slogan, claiming a bit to be the flag carrier (at least they are still the biggest airline).

Veeeery interesting ! I was told that they will start with DC9-50. But now these state-of-the-art DC9-21 ! I guess TACA will have a lot of fun ! They can't take them for seriuos. Never ever they have a chance to be successful with such an equipment.

What I also find very interesting is the website mentioned on the aircraft:
.
It is still under construction, but at least we have something to check every day for news.
