any help would be appreciated

I believe it is actually based at Teesside and was operating for the charter company, as the B757's weren't being filled. The aircraft is on lease from Britannia AB. That was the last i heard anyway!

I do not think that the Tesside based 738 is having a flight to Doncaster. I'm not really sure how that aircraft (SE-DZV) is operating today but for about a month ago it was flying like this:

MO: MME-LPA-MME-DLM-MME
TU: MME-ALC-MME-PMI-MME
WE: MME-PFO-MME-MIR-MME
TH: MME-PMI-HUY-PMI-MME
FR: MME-CFU-MME-TFS-MME
SA: MME-MAH-MME-PMI-MME
SU: MME-GRO-MME-AGP-MME-FAO-MME

As you see all flights out of Tesside except one that's flying out of Humberside.

G-CDZN is currently based at Doncaster also with a couple of classics, I can't remember if they are -300's or -500's.

Think there is a 738 at DSA doing BY flights and another at MME doing BY flights

I wondered how both the charter flights and low cost operations of Thomsonfly had been performing at DSA. Living quite close to the airport, I see/hear many passengers rather reluctant to change from flying from MAN/LBA/HUY.

I believe Thomson has its work cut out filling a 757 to any of its destinations at the moment from Doncaster.

In fact, Thomson/Britannia have not had the right size of aircraft for charter services from small regional airports ever since they got rid of the 130 seat 732s which were ideal for charter services from airports like Norwich and would have been the ideal aircraft for services from DSA.

Britannia made a mistake in replacing the 732s with 757 aircraft which are often too large for some services in its programme.

Anyone know how the charter/scheduled routes of Thomsonfly are performing at DSA? I reckon we could well see a redution in destinations very soon!

Actually they are exapnding for the winter season. To AMS, LYS and the Canaries. In addition they are planning a number of new destinations for next summer.

This SE-DZV seems to be less used than it should be. Only two destinations per day ? Has it a concern with the dry-lease agreement ?
