Looks like ANU is getting more and more service. Glad to see DL spreading out to the Caribbean like this.
From what I've been told the flights to UVF have been quite successful although I have no numbers to go by.

Good news. This can be what finally pushes AA towards re-starting MIA-ANU. They've been hold off since the mainline-Anitgua market is sparsely served, but they don't like Delta serving Caribbean cities from the mainland which they don't. It took them only about two weeks to announce daily MIA-UVF after Delta announced 2w ATL-UVF.
I think think this is non-stop #202. Bozemon and Kalamazoo were 200 and 201.

That's awesome! Now I can fly CMH-ATL-ANU to see my aunt! Great idea, DL.
ANU may have to expand their terminal/ramp with the addition of another carrier. I know a few years ago they were under a runway/taxiway renovation, but I don't believe anything was done with the terminal. I was last there in '03 on MQ, flying ANU-SJU, and the boarding area was very crowded.
It's funny when I tell people I love planes and they think I'm weird.

They have had that on the back burner for so long now. The GM for AA in ANU told me the government of Antigua was pushing for a JFK-ANU service from AA but nothing has since been decided.
CO has a twice weekly EWR-ANU which has been around for a while(correct me if I am wrong)
BWIA has a Sunday only flight from JFK and Thursday only service from YYZ.

Surprising application. I would have expected Barbados to be added first, but I have no problem taking ANU instead . About it being destination number 202 from ATL, is that 202 destinations including all seasonal ones, or only the winter seasonal ones?
Edit: I also take this as another sign that DL is a bit worried about what is going on at Air Jamaica. First they upped ATL-UVF from 2x weekly to 5x weekly, then upgraded the 738 on ATL-MBJ to a 763, and now this.

Quoting Al319 (Reply 12): I really hope this lasts alot of carriers start service to ANU and then quickly pull out. It'd be nice to see NWA back at ANU also.
The only city that was unsuccessful was CUR. STX was dropped as a daily tag on from STT, but DL is presently providing weekend only service to STX. Also the STT-STX flights were inherited and were began long before their island expansion. Any new city DL goes to will likely be a permanent fixture, at least during peak season.
DL is now up to AUA, NAS, FPO, PLS, SDQ, STI, SJU, STT, STX, MBJ, GCM, SXM, UVF with a couple pending applications and at least two yet to be announced destinations.
In addition to Latin American/Mexican destinations of CUN, CZM, PVR, MEX, GDL, SJD, MTY, BZE, GUA, SAL, LIR, SJO, PTY with several pending Mexican applications.
It's a big building with patients, but that's not important right now.
