Word is that Jetstar have painted a B717 one side AVIS car rental and the other Budget Car rental as a double-logojet. Aircraft reportedly just out of the paintshop at Newcastle Williamtown (if true, I'm amazed two competing firms agreed to be on the same plane!)

Also word from Boeing Field shows Virgin Blue newest 737-700 VH-VBY is to be delivered in a special 50th Virgin Blue aircraft scheme - light blue all over.

Looking forward to the first a.net pics of both aircraft.

I was thinking there must be some alliance between Avis and Budget as the onboard car rental PA is for both companies and the advertising space is shared on the JQ homepage.

There is also small ads on the 'C' and 'E' seat tray tables but for Budget only. This is on 717s VQF-K. They are non-obtrusive and on placards - not stickers. Amazing how many people sit there trying to pick it off!

Well I look forward to a DJ 737 in yucky green Europcar colours next!

(I didn't know Budget was tied to QF but Avis has been promoting its QF frequent flyer competition lately - Europcar promotes itself quite heavily on DJ)

Both aircraft should be interesting. DJs should look wicked. Might be a bit hard to see it in the sky thou
